You put your ticket on resale, the event is happening soon and you wonder why you still haven’t sold it ? Here are keys to understand how the resale system works !
⚠️ Reminder :
→ We can’t guarantee that your ticket will be resold.
→ You will only get a refund if your ticket is resold.
I put my ticket on resale and the event is sold out
If the event is already sold out, it will not change its status. But don't worry, your ticket will be offered to people who sign up for the Waiting List.
Resale depends on the buyers as well as the other resellers. Resale tickets leave in the same order in which they were offered for sale. The first ticket put up for resale will leave with the first buyer, the second ticket put up for resale will leave with the second buyer, and so on.
If there are more resellers than buyers, and your ticket is positioned far down the resale waiting list, this inevitably reduces your chances of reselling it.
I put my ticket on resale and the event isn’t sold out yet
If the event isn’t sold out yet, your ticket is put back on sale among the other tickets available for the event. Again, whether your ticket is resold or not depends on how many buyers there are for this event.
For this type of resale, the buyer also needs to be buying from his Shotgun account directly : if the user is redirected to Shotgun through another website, he will only see tickets from normal sale.
