A ticket was transferred to you via the Shotgun app, but you now want to resell it or ask the organizer for a refund. However, you’re not sure you will be able to get the money back ? Here’s how it works !
When a ticket is resold or refunded, the refund automatically goes to the credit card used for the purchase. In the case of a transfer, there is no transaction on the Shotgun app, so the ticket is considered a free ticket for the receiver, even if there was a payment outside the platform. This means the refund directly goes to the original buyer of the ticket, who transferred it to you.
If the ticket was a gift, or if you paid for it outside the Shotgun app, the only way to get a refund is to make arrangements with the person who initially transferred it to you.
