You got a ticket for a friend and want to send it as a gift ? Here are all the explanations you need !
I want to transfer my ticket
You can transfer your ticket to someone you know by following these steps :
Open the Shotgun app and go to “My tickets”, then click on the concerned ticket to view the QR code
Press the "Transfer" button
Fill in the beneficiary’s phone number or email address, then confirm the transfer.
The beneficiary will receive a text or an email with a link to accept the transfer. In the meantime, you will see that the transfer appears as “Sending” on your QR code. Once the transfer is complete, they will find their ticket in their Shotgun account and your ticket will appear as invalid (and greyed out) in your account.
I want to cancel the transfer
⚠️ You can’t cancel a transfer once it’s complete ! The only way to get your ticket back is to ask the receiver to transfer it back to you.
You can cancel as a transfer as long as the beneficiary hasn’t accepted it yet. Click on the “Sending” button that appears on the QR code of the ticket you’re transferring, then on “Cancel transfer”.
I want to transfer my ticket but I can’t
⚠️ Reminder :
→ Transfer is only available on the Shotgun app, not on the website.
→ The beneficiary has to accept the transfer to complete it.
