Payments on Shotgun are processed securely through Stripe, our payment service provider.
Stripe uses security measures and automated systems to monitor transactions and identify potentially suspicious activity. Shotgun also applies its own fraud prevention measures.
Depending on the transaction, you may be asked to complete an additional verification step through your bank using 3D Secure. This may happen when additional authentication is required before the payment can be completed.
3D Secure adds an extra layer of protection by asking you to verify the payment with your bank, for example through your banking app or another authentication method provided by your bank.
Your payment details are handled securely by our payment provider. Shotgun does not need access to your full card details to process your purchase.
