Bad news, the event you were waiting for has been cancelled or postponed ? You’re probably disappointed and now expect a refund, or hope you can reuse your ticket for another event : here’s what you can do.
First, wait for organizers to communicate about possible solutions. It may take them a few days, but you should receive an email or find a post on social media with instructions to ask for a refund, or keep your ticket for another upcoming event.
⚠️ Reminder : cancellation is frequently as unexpected for the organizers as it is for you. Don’t panic and give them a little time : they are looking for solutions.
Keep an eye on your inbox (including spams), the organizer’s Facebook or Instagram page and also on the event page on Shotgun, information might be displayed in the event description.
⚠️ Organizers sometimes refund directly their clients : check that you haven’t received a receipt by email already ! If so, just wait 5 to 10 days to see the refund on your bank account.
