👉 Where can I find my proof of payment?
Every paid order on Shotgun comes with a Transaction Receipt (PDF) attached to your order confirmation email, next to your tickets.
These are two separate attachments.
The Transaction Receipt is available for every country Shotgun operates in and for every supported payment method, including card, cash or card terminal at the door, and Pix.
The receipt shows:
- The event;
- The amount paid to the organizer;
- The amount paid to Shotgun in service fees;
- The total amount paid;
- The payment method.
Tax details are also included where applicable in your country.
👉 I can't find my proof of payment
Your Transaction Receipt is sent by email as a separate attachment to your order confirmation.
If you don't see it:
- Search your inbox for your order confirmation email, including your spam and promotions folders.
- Check the mailbox linked to the account you used to place the order. The receipt is only sent to that address.
- If several people paid with the same card, only the account holder who placed the order receives the receipt.
Still can't find it? See 📧 Why am I not receiving emails from Shotgun? for the most common causes.
👉 Can I get an invoice in my company's name?
The Transaction Receipt is a proof of payment, not a commercial invoice.
It can't be addressed to a company and doesn't include a postal address or company tax number. Because of this, it can't be converted into a commercial invoice from your Shotgun account.
👉 Why didn't I receive a proof of payment for my order?
Some orders don't generate a Transaction Receipt:
- Free orders and invitations: Nothing was paid, so there's no payment to certify.
- Payments that haven't been completed yet: The receipt is issued once the payment goes through.
- Installment plans: Not covered for now.
- Tickets bought outside Shotgun: If you bought a ticket through another ticketing platform or a physical seller, the seller who took your payment is responsible for issuing the proof of payment.
- Refunded or resold orders: No second document is issued. Your original receipt remains valid and continues to reflect the original purchase.
- Ticket upgrades: The upgrade itself doesn't generate a separate receipt.
If none of these situations applies to you and you still don't have a receipt, or if you used a Shotgun voucher, contact the Shotgun Care team.
What we need from you:
- The email address used for the order;
- The order number;
- The event name and date of purchase;
- Whether a voucher, promo code, or discount was applied.
